Olympics Portal Airport

Spokane International Airport (GEG) is proud to announce that it has been selected as an Olympic Portal airport for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games.

In order to maintain security, manage air space and parking, all private aircraft flying into Vancouver for the Olympic Games must first land at a designated portal airport (Spokane, Boise, or Reno). All private or corporate aircraft planning to fly into Vancouver during the games must also first make a reservation at www.2010airportreservations.ca

Spokane International has two FBOs that are well prepared to accommodate aircraft bound for the Vancouver Olympic Games. Please see our Aviation Services section on our web page for contact information. TSA and US Customs are onsite.

Spokane is also host to the US National Figure Skating championships for the two weeks prior to the Vancouver Olympics. Please plan to fly into Spokane for excellent service and a very enjoyable time.
